California May Over Rule Gay Marriage Rights

California, which was known as the first place in the US to have legally allowed same-sex marriages has now done a complete turn around. The federal judge, Vaughn R. Walker has ruled that any marriages from next Wednesday will no longer be acknowledged and will ultimately be rejected to be legalized. This has shocked and disappointed many who believed that the rights of individuals should be equal.

The change of events leading up to this decision has made many supporters protest against the new rule. Many individuals believe that this act is ultimately denying same-sex couples from their gay marriage rights under the constitution.

An appeal has been made to change the decision, however there is only a slim chance that the judge would reconsider his final decision.
